Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Ahmediye is a neighbourhood of the Akören district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 17 km east of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Yıkık (1900); the present name Ahmediye became established later. The name Yıkık is of Turkish origin. Records associate the settlement with Tatar or Nogai communities.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Şeyh Hocenti Türbesi (~4 km).
