📖 Its Story

Yaşarlar is a neighbourhood of the Akşehir district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 11 km northeast of the district centre.

In older records the settlement appears as Kürtköy (1926); the present name Yaşarlar became established later. The name Kürtköy is of Turkish origin.

Historic sites recorded nearby include Kurtbaba Höyüğü (~2 km), Apsarı Höyük (~3 km).
