Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Akköy is a neighbourhood of the Altınekin district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 9 km west of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Körkuyu (1925); the present name Akköy became established later. The name Körkuyu is of Turkish origin.

Körkuyu ve Keşlik yaylaları daha önceleri Zıvarık nahiye merkezine bağlı iken, 13 Ocak 1956'da birleşerek Akköy adıyla köy statüsü kazandı.
