Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Gölkaşı is a neighbourhood of the Beyşehir district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 13 km north of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Gölbend (1926), Kırstefan (1912), Kıstıfan (1584); the present name Gölkaşı became established later. The name Kıstıfan is of Greek origin, meaning "Stefan bey".
Historic sites recorded nearby include Erbaba Höyüğü (~3 km), Eflatunpınar Anıtı (~5 km).
