Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Kurucuova is a neighbourhood of the Beyşehir district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 31 km west of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Kurcova (1912), Kurucaova (1584); the present name Kurucuova became established later. The name Kurcova is of Turkish origin. Yörük families settled here in a later period.

Yerleşim, 1956 yılında beldeye dönüştü. 1956 ile 2012 yılları arasında Eski Mahalle ve Yeni Mahalle olarak isimlendirilen iki mahalleden oluşan bir kasaba durumundaydı. 2012 yılında çıkarılan 6360 Sayılı On Üç İlde Büyükşehir Belediyesi Ve Yirmi Altı İlçe Kurulması İle Bazı Kanun Ve Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerde Değişiklik Yapılmasına Dair Kanun doğrultusunda belde statüsünü kaybederek mahalle sayılmıştır.
