90 hanelik bir köydür. Oğuz Türkleri “Bey, Bay, Gazi, Fakih” gibi ünvan bildiren adları yerleştikleri yerlere ad olarak vermişlerdir. Bozkır İlçesi Üçpınar Nahiyesi’ne bağlı olan Bayboğan Köyü de ünvan bildiren bir ad almış yerleşim birimidir.
