Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Harmanpınar is a neighbourhood of the Bozkır district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 8 km northwest of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Meyre (1928); the present name Harmanpınar became established later.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Aliçerçi Köyü Çeşmesi (~3 km), Merkez Camii, Ahırlı (~4 km).

Harmanpınar'ın eski adı Meyre'dir. M.Ö. 2000 yıllarında Hititler adlı bir kavmin etkisi altında bulunan bölgede bulunan Meyre adı, Hititler Birliği'ne girmiş olan prensliklerle ilişkilidir. Meyre kelimesini halk, Hititçe Mara kelimesinden çevirmiştir. Harmanpınar belde teşkilatı 6360 Sayılı Kanun uyarınca kapatılmış olup, büyükşehir yasası kapsamında Bozkır ilçesine mahalle olmuştur.
