Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Göynem is a neighbourhood of the Derebucak district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 8 km northwest of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Aşağıkayalar + Yukarıkayalar (1968); the present name Göynem became established later.

Yerleşim, 1926 yılından beri aynı adı taşımaktaydı. İlerleyen yıllarda Kayalar adını alan köy, 29 Aralık 1986'da "Yukarıkayalar" adıyla beldeye dönüştü. Yerleşime, 3 Ağustos 2007 tarihli T.C. Resmî Gazetede yayımlanmasıyla yürürlüğe giren kararla birlikte eski adı iade edildi. Göynem, 2012 yılındaki yasa değişikliğinden sonra mahalle oldu.
