Başköy is a neighbourhood of the Doğanhisar district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 7 km east of the district centre.

Hızla göç vermesi nedeniyle nüfusu hızla azalmıştır. Bilinen en eski adı "RUİS" dir. Cumhuriyet döneminde ise "BAŞKÖY" adını alarak gelen düzenlemeler ile kasaba iken mahalle olarak kayıtlara geçmiştir. Kültür, şive vb. özellikleriyle eski Anadolu köylerini, yaşamlarını aratmayan bir yapıya sahiptir.
