Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Karaören is a neighbourhood of the Emirgazi district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 5 km southwest of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Karaviran (1928); the present name Karaören became established later. The name Karaviran is of Turkish origin.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Kanlı Kale (~4 km).
