Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Alhan is a neighbourhood of the Ereğli district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 6 km west of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Alan (1926); the present name Alhan became established later. It was earlier home to Alevi Kurdish communities; Sunni Kurdish families settled here later.

Düz bir alan üzerine kurulmuş bu mahalle üç farklı kültürü içinde barındırmaktadır. Nüfusun çoğunluğunu Erzurum göçmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Geçim kaynakları tarım, hayvancılık, inşaat ve diğer iş imkanlarıdır. Ereğli ilçesine 5 km uzaklıkta olan bu mahallede 2025 yılı itibarıyla 1219 kişi ikamet etmektedir. Kahramanmaraş'tan göç edenler tarafından kurulmuştur.
