Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Belceağaç is a neighbourhood of the Ereğli district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 7 km southeast of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Lütfühamidiye (1928), Belliağaç (1919); the present name Belceağaç became established later. The name Lütfühamidiye is of Turkish origin, meaning "Abdülhamid lütfü". Sunni Kurdish families settled here in a later period.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Hacımemiş Höyük (~4 km).
