Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Mahmudiye is a neighbourhood of the Kadınhanı district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 23 km northwest of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Çerkes Atlantı (1926); the present name Mahmudiye became established later. The name Mahmudiye is of Turkish origin. It was earlier home to Circassian/Chechen communities; Circassian families settled here later.
