📖 Its Story
Yeşildere is a neighbourhood of the Meram district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 32 km southwest of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Kuzağıl (1968), Detse (1926); the present name Yeşildere became established later. The name Detse is of Greek origin. Records associate the settlement with Greek Orthodox communities.
