1960 yıllarında kasabaya Halıcı ismi verilmiş ve resmi kayıtlarda Halıcı olarak yer almış olsa da yöre insanı tarafından bu isim benimsenmemiş ve tekrar Ladik olarak değiştirilmiştir.Mahallenin ilçe merkezine olan uzaklığı 7 km, Konya iline uzaklığı ise 40 kilometredir.
