📖 The Story

The iwan-type tomb in Musalla Cemetery was raised in the late 13th century for Gömeç Hatun of the Seljuk palace. The city's largest mausoleum, its brick body hides a crypt below, and its pointed-arch iwan can be spotted from afar among the cypresses.
