📖 The Story
Built in the 16th century by Piri Mehmed Pasha, grand vizier under Selim I and Süleyman the Magnificent, the mosque is Sarayönü's foremost example of classical Ottoman style. The complex of mosque, bath and fountain forms the historic core of the town.
