Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Büyüköz is a neighbourhood of the Ahırlı district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 10 km north of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Büyüköz or Özler (1926); the present name Büyüköz became established later. The name Büyüköz|Özler is of Turkish origin.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Aliçerçi Köyü Çeşmesi (~2 km).

Yaklaşık 50 hane hane olup halkın çoğu yaşlıdır. Çevresinde Bademli, Küçüköz ve Aliçerçi köyleri vardır. Köyün doğusunda küçük bir tepe, hemen önünde ise küçük bir çay bulunur.
