Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Şamlar is a neighbourhood of the Beyşehir district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 13 km south of the district centre.
The name Şamlar is of Turkish origin. Records associate the settlement with Alevi Turk communities.

Şamlar mahallesi Beyşehir ilçesine 11 km uzaklıkta güney tarafındadır. Köy ormanlık ve yeşillikle kaplı bir bölgededir. Denizden yükseklik 1307 metredir. Lale dağı ile adlandırılan dağın eteğinde kuruludur. Şamlarlılar özellikle 1970'li yıllarda başlayan göç ile beraber Türkiye'nin ve dünyanın birçok yerine dağılmıştır.
