📖 Its Story

Hodoğlu is a neighbourhood of the Cihanbeyli district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 30 km southwest of the district centre.

The name Hodoğlu is of Turkish origin. Turkmen families settled here in a later period.

Daha önceleri Karabağ köyüne bağlı bir mahalle iken, 21 Haziran 1955'te yine aynı köye bağlı olan Göçmen ve Örnek mahalleleri ile birleştirilerek köy statüsü kazandı. Hodoğlu; Konya ilinin Altınekin ilçesine bağlıyken, 24 Ağustos 1989'da Cihanbeyli ilçesine bağlandı.
