Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Turanlar is a neighbourhood of the Cihanbeyli district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 35 km northwest of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Yayle Tozê (2020), By. Yayla (1946); the present name Turanlar became established later. It was earlier home to Sunni Kurdish communities; Kurdish (Hanafi Sunni) families settled here later.

Büyük ve Korkmaz yaylaları daha önceleri Kelhasan'a bağlı iken, 3 Temmuz 1956'da birleştirilerek Turanlar adıyla bağımsız bir köy haline geldi.
