Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Yapalı is a neighbourhood of the Cihanbeyli district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 13 km south of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Qameran (2020); the present name Yapalı became established later. The name Qameran is of Kurdish origin. It was earlier home to Sunni Kurdish communities; Kurdish (Hanafi Sunni) families settled here later.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Yapalı Türbesi, Ilıcapınar Höyüğü (~4 km).

Yapalı mahallesinin doğusu Günyüzü, batısı Kırkışla, güneyi Toprakkale yaylası, kuzeyi ise Cihanbeyli ve Gölyazi kasabası bulunmaktadır. Cihanbeyli ilçe merkezine 18 km uzaklıktadır.
