Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Zaferiye is a neighbourhood of the Cihanbeyli district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 49 km northwest of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Kayışoğlu or Zaferiye (1926); the present name Zaferiye became established later. The name Kayışoğlu|Zaferiye is of Turkish origin. It was earlier home to Sunni Kurdish communities; Kurdish (Hanafi Sunni) families settled here later.

Mahallenin adı, 1926 yılı kayıtlarında Kayışoğlu ya da Zaferiye olarak geçmektedir. Daha önceleri Yunak ilçesine bağlıyken, 17 Mayıs 1973'te Cihanbeyli ilçesine bağlandı.
