📖 Its Story
Beylerce is a neighbourhood of the Çumra district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 5 km southwest of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Batum (1928); the present name Beylerce became established later. It was earlier home to Kars refugee (1878) communities; Ahıska Turk families settled here later.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Karaman Köprüsü (~2 km), Sırçalı Tepe (~4 km), Çumra Tren İstasyonu (~5 km).

2014'ten önce idari açıdan köy statüsüne sahipti. Eski adı Batum'dur. Nitekim 1928 yılında Batum (باطوم) adıyla Konya vilayetinin Çumra kazasının merkez nahiyesine bağlı bir köy olarak kaydedilmiştir. 1950 genel nüfusu sayımında da aynı idari konuma sahipti ve 143'ü erkek, 145'i kadın olmak üzere köyde 238 kişi yaşıyordu.
