Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Okçu is a neighbourhood of the Çumra district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 5 km southeast of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Okçualan (1926); the present name Okçu became established later. The name Okçualan is of Turkish origin. Yörük families settled here in a later period.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Karaman Köprüsü (~4 km), Çumra Tren İstasyonu (~5 km).
