Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Bahçeli is a neighbourhood of the Ereğli district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 6 km northeast of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Kızılyar (1968), İhsanıhamid (1928), Bulgurluk İstasyonu (1926); the present name Bahçeli became established later. The name İhsanıhamid is of Turkish origin, meaning "Abdülhamid ihsanı". Yörük families settled here in a later period.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Çiller Köprüsü (~5 km).
