Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Çayhan is a neighbourhood of the Ereğli district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 23 km east of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Çayhan aş. + yk. (1928); the present name Çayhan became established later.

1967 yılında belediye olmuştur. Kasaba halkının tamamı tarım, bağcılık, hayvancılık ve çerçicilikle uğraşmaktadır. Çayhan, ilçe merkezinin yaklaşık 25 km doğusunda, Niğde ve Mersin illerine sınır noktasında bulunmaktadır. Konya il merkezine 185 km, Adana'ya 160 km mesafededir. Kasabanın yaklaşık 5 km güneyinde 1990 yılında DSİ tarafından yapılmış sulama amaçlı bir baraj göleti bulunmaktadır.
