Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
İmrenler is a neighbourhood of the Hüyük district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 9 km southeast of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Balkanda/Balğanda (1432) (1912); the present name İmrenler became established later. The name Balkanda/Balğanda is of Anatolian languages origin.

İmrenler idari yönden Konya İli Hüyük İlçesi’ne bağlıdır. İç Anadolu ve Akdeniz Bölgelerini birbirinden ayıran Sultan Dağları’nın eteklerinde kurulmuştur. 1970 li yıllarda 4.400 civarında olan nüfus özellikle Almanya ve İstanbul’a göçlerle birlikte azalmıştır. Kasabanın nüfusu 2018 yılı itibarıyla 1.200 kadardır. Eskiden bağlı olduğu ilçemizin adıyla bilinen Beyşehir Gölü’nü kuzey doğudan seyretmektedir.
