Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Köstengil is a neighbourhood of the Kulu district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 12 km west of the district centre.

Köstengil köyü Konya ilinin Kulu ilçesine bağlı bulunmaktadır. Köy 1850 - 60 lı yıllarda Rusyadan göç eden Nogay Türkleri tarafından kurulmuştur. Köye ilk yerleşen ve kuran Temirbek Ata ve obasıdır. Köy yerleşim yeri olmadan önce bir bataklıktır. Köye yerleşen Nogay halkı bataklık halinde bulunan araziyi çeşme kanalları açmak ve söğüt ağaçları dikmek suretiyle kurutmuşlardır.
