📖 Its Story

İmamoğlu is a neighbourhood of the Yunak district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 23 km east of the district centre.

In older records the settlement appears as Bodan (2020); the present name İmamoğlu became established later. It was earlier home to Sunni Kurdish communities; Kurdish (Hanafi Sunni) families settled here later.

İmamoğlu, n.d Bodan, Konya'nın Yunak ilçesine bağlı bir mahalledir. Kürtler tarafından kurulmuştur. Genel olarak Eskişehir, Konya ve Polatlı'ya göç edilmiştir. Konya iline 176 km, Yunak ilçesine 22 km uzaklıktadır.
