Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Kurtuşağı is a neighbourhood of the Yunak district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 9 km north of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Kurdan (2020), Kurduşağı (1924); the present name Kurtuşağı became established later. The name Kurdan is of Kurdish origin, meaning "kürtler". It was earlier home to Sunni Kurdish communities; Kurdish (Hanafi Sunni) families settled here later.
