📖 The Story

Built in 1213, the Akşehir Grand Mosque is one of the district's oldest structures. Its multi-pier wood-ceilinged plan and brickwork minaret reflect the plainness of the Seljuk age. It stands adjoining the historic Akşehir bazaar.
