📖 The Story
Built in 1265 by the vizier Sahip Ata, the madrasa is world-renowned for its magnificent portal of interlacing relief. It takes its name from the slender minaret, shortened by a lightning strike. Inside, Seljuk and Beylik-era stone and wood works are displayed.
