Konya'yı 📖 Its Story
Altuntaş is a neighbourhood of the Akşehir district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 14 km east of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Görnes (1912); the present name Altuntaş became established later. The name Görnes is of Greek origin.
Historic sites recorded nearby include Yılan Yusuf Köprüsü (~4 km).

Eski adıyla "Gurnes" olarak bilinen Altuntaş kasabası, 1967 yılında belediye olmuştur. Aksehir-Konya kara yolunun 12. km'sinde bulunmaktadır. Gelenek ve görenekleri hakkında bilgi yoktur.
