Esentepe is a neighbourhood of the Karatay district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 74 km east of the district centre.

In older records the settlement appears as Sinnelik (1926); the present name Esentepe became established later. The name Sinnelik is of Turkish origin.

Esentepe, Konya'nın merkez ilçelerinden Karatay'a baglı bir mahalledir. Karatay ilçe sınırları içerisindeki Obruk yaylalarından bir tanesidir. Konya'ya uzaklığı 88 km'dir. Aksaray'ın Eskil ilçesi ve Konya'nın Karapınar ilçeleriyle sınırdır. Eskil'e uzaklığı 50 km, Karapınar'a uzaklığı ise 38 km'dir.
