📖 Its Story
Kırkkuyu is a neighbourhood of the Kulu district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 15 km southeast of the district centre.
The name Kırkkuyu is of Turkish origin. It was earlier home to Tatar or Nogai communities; Nogai families settled here later.

1853‐1856 Osmanlı- Rus Savaşı’nda Anadolu'ya gelen bazı Nogay Türklerinin bu bölgeye göç etmesi ile kurulmuştur. Köye daha sonra 1890 yıllarında Rusya'nın Petersgie ili Semirik ilçesi Gölderen köyünden gelip yerleşenlerde olmuştur.
