📖 Its Story
Kozanlı is a neighbourhood of the Kulu district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 25 km west of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Kızanlı (1720); the present name Kozanlı became established later. The name Kızanlı is of Turkish origin, meaning "the name of an Oghuz tribe". Turkmen families settled here in a later period.
