📖 Its Story
Tursunlu is a neighbourhood of the Tuzlukçu district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 17 km southeast of the district centre.
In older records the settlement appears as Mecidiye (1906); the present name Tursunlu became established later. The name Tursunlu is of Turkish origin. Records associate the settlement with Tatar or Nogai communities.
