📖 Its Story

Kuyubaşı is a neighbourhood of the Yunak district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 32 km southeast of the district centre.

In older records the settlement appears as Taahhütlü (1926); the present name Kuyubaşı became established later. The name Taahhütlü is of Turkish origin, meaning "sözleşmeli". Records associate the settlement with Turkmen communities.
