📖 Its Story

Yeşiloba is a neighbourhood of the Yunak district of Konya, Türkiye. It lies about 33 km south of the district centre.

Yörük families settled here in a later period.

Bu bölgenin Bizans İmparatorluğu dönemine kadar uzanan bir yerleşim yeri olduğu sanılmaktadır. Mahallenin bulunduğu kısım eskiden beri yayla olarak kullanılmaktadır. 1940'lardan itibaren sürekli yerleşim yeri olarak kullanılan bu bölge, yerleşenlerin çoğalmasıyla 1971 yılında köy olmuştur. Buraya sürekli yerleşen aileler Hursunlu mahallesinden gelmiştir. Eski ismi Kızılkuyu'dur.
