📖 The Story
The memorial tomb of Shams of Tabriz, the dervish who transformed Mevlana's life, is visited inside the mosque bearing his name. The Seljuk-style tomb and timber-ceilinged mosque form a peaceful whole with Şems Park around them; tradition says pilgrims to Mevlana should call on Shams first.
