📖 The Story

Founded in the late 12th century, İplikçi takes its name from the thread-makers' guild beside it; Mevlana is held to have taught and retreated here. Its dim prayer hall on thick piers instantly cuts visitors off from the bazaar noise — a natural pause on the Alaeddin–Mevlana walk.
